It’s Valentine’s Day weekend! Valentine’s Day is an interestingly polarizing “holiday.” Typically, you
either love it or hate it. Regardless,
you probably celebrate it to some extent.

here are some quick and easy suggestions.
For the gents:
Pick him up his
favorite bottle of alcohol or a growler of beer at the local craft beer store. Click
here to find a local growler
source in your area. Typically Whole
Foods sells growlers if you can’t find a local store to fill the growler. You could always supplement the bottle of
liquor with some fun ice molds from Williams
Sonoma, World
Market, or Macys.
A subscription to
the Dollar Shave Club. Print
out and wrap up a picture of the website or wrap a can of shave gel. This way, you don’t ruin the surprise.
Boxers and
Socks: Nothing says romance like getting
down to your skivvies! Give the
practical gift of socks and boxers. I love these from Old
Navy and
For the ladies:
We ladies like some
fancy barware. Grab two of these flutes
with a bottle of champagne and you’ll look like you have it perfectly
planned.
Order tickets to a
play at a local theater or upcoming concert with an IOU to a great new
restaurant (her pick).
If all else fails
make breakfast in bed. Stay in and cook.
Turn off the television. Set the
table. Light a candle. Much better than the expensive set menu at
the crowded restaurant down the street.
